MY Classification Sdn Bhd - previously Chancellor Maritime & Offshore Sdn Bhd - is an independent classification society that surveys, classes, and certifies Malaysian-flag vessels under mandatory IMO instruments and the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952.
We are appointed as a Recognized Organization (RO) by the Ministry of Transport through the Malaysia Marine Department, and certified as a Recognized Security Organization (RSO) for ISPS audits and verification onboard ships.
Recognized Organization
MY Classification is allowed to survey and class Malaysian Flag vessels operating in domestic waters and international waters up to ASEAN countries.

MY Classification is certified as RSO to conduct ISPS (International Ships & Port Security) Audits & Verification onboard ships and to prepare MFSA (Marine Facility Security Assessment) & MFSP (Marine Facility Security Plan) in Malaysia.
Quality Management
MY Classification was certified by CARE Certification International & awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the “Provision of Classification of Ships” since 16th August 2023.
